The wearning of a uniform is school policy.
This policy was arrived at through community consultation and supported by the staff, P&C and students. Wearing the school uniform contributes to the development of school pride. It is economical and discourages peer competition to wear the latest fashion. Students in uniform are more readily identified with our school.
Parents and carers are asked to support the uniform policy. Those who need financial assistance can apply to the Principal for uniform items from the school's clothing pool. Uniforms and fabrics are available from the local shops, including Coast Road Clothing in the Pambula industrial area and Mark Anthony's Clothing of Eden.
Hats and sunglasses are advisable for sun protection, but are not to be worn in classrooms
