Befitting our name, courses in Marine Studies provide significant opportunities for our students to learn about the marine environment, industry and associated recreational activities. A major school focus is student engagement and participation in learning, developed through Country Area Program resources and school training and development funding. A key aspect of this focus in the Learning to Think / Thinking to Learn program which involves all students in years 7 and 8. The school boasts an inclusive student welfare program with extensive support services from student advisers and support head teachers for each year 7 - 12, two school counsellors and two deputy principals.
